We are proud to announce the launch and our partnership with Vancouver Food Runners! VFR has been piloting quietly since January and launched operations in the midst of a pandemic, responding to the urgent need of both donors — as restaurants and schools closed — and the community, faced with unprecedented hunger amidst high unemployment and uncertainty.
Launching amidst a crisis presents challenges but the team at VFR rose to the occasion and has already redistributed over 110,000 pounds of food. Not bad, eh?
